Mais peu de temps apr\u00e8s, en 1850, la production cessa. Deux d\u00e9cennies plus tard, il ne restait que des ruines de l\u2019ancienne distillerie.<br\/><br\/><br\/>En mai 2011, Aurora Brewing, un consortium priv\u00e9 de Caithness autour d\u2019Andres Thomsen et Harry Tayler, a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de recommencer et en 2012 a re\u00e7u l\u2019approbation des autorit\u00e9s pour planifier et construire une distillerie, nomm\u00e9e Wolfburn. Le 25 janvier 2013, le premier distillat sort des alambics &#8211; en f\u00e9vrier 2016, les premiers embouteillages sont arriv\u00e9s sur le march\u00e9.
