Cù Bòcan Highland Single Malt Whisky

The Tomatin Distillery – also known as a whisky blender – produced its own peated spirit for the first time in 2005. A very low water temperature allowed the distillate to condense more quickly, resulting in a slightly oilier mouthfeel: Cù Bòcan was born in 2005 and has been produced in small batches every winter since then. The brand was launched in 2013 with its centrepiece, the Signature Release.

Cù Bòcan is an experimental single malt made from lightly peated barley. It matures in a variety of different barrels to release unusual flavours. Cù Bòcan has subtly smoky and surprisingly sweet notes.
