Machrie Moor Arran Single Malt Scotch Whisky

whi_mac

On the west coast of the island lies a windswept peat bog called Machrie Moor. Bronze Age stone circles and standing stones are scattered across the site. One of the stone circles, in which there is a stone with a hole, is known as Fingal’s Cauldron Seat; the legendary warrior giant is said to have tied his favourite dog Bran to the stone.

This peated single malt exhibits the freshness and fruitiness typical of Arran with an additional hint of smoke and earthiness. It is 10 years old and available in cask strength.
