The origins of Berry Bros & Rudd Wine & Spirits Merchants can be traced back to 1698, when the Widow Bourne founded her business opposite St James Palace. Descendants of the Widow Bourne still run the business at No. 3 St James Street in London today.For the “Berrys’ Own Selection Single Malt Whisky”, the company opens its large warehouse of matured whiskies, some of which are no longer available, exclusively for Charles Hofer SA. We select a few gems, which we usually buy as a whole cask and have bottled exclusively for Charles Hofer SA – always at cask strength.
