This Premium Cask was matured in an Oloroso Hogshead. Distilled on 5 August 1996 and bottled on 11 December 2020 as a 24-year-old. An exclusive bottling for Switzerland that is limited to 254 bottles.
Colour: Dark mahogany.
Aroma: A seductive bouquet of dark orange chocolate, hazelnuts and new leather. Discreetly floral.
Taste: Rich with peaches baked in treacle, flaked almonds, heather honey and a full-bodied olive oil mouthfeel.
Finish: Powdered sugar and apple pie dusted with cinnamon.
The Isle of Arran lies between the mainland and the peninsula of Kintyre. Because of its scenic features and charms, it is often called “Scotland en miniature”. Since 1995, there has also been a legal distillery there again, the Lochranza Distillery. Since 2018, there is a second distillery in the same ownership, the Lagg Distillery.
