At the end of last week, several pieces of news arrived from the Isle of Arran.
Lagg Distillery
Corriecravie Edition | 55 Vol. % | 70cl The second bottling in the standard series. First matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and then for 6 months in ex-Oloroso Sherry Hogsheads from Miguel Martin’s cooperage in Jerez. We received 480 bottles to start with.
At the same time, we received another 300 bottles of the Kilmory Edition.
Forecast: Another 600 bottles of Kilmory and 120 bottles of Corriecravie Edition will follow in October.
Lochranza Distillery
Single Cask 2006/800014 | 17-year-old | 53 vol. % | 70cl Distilled on 14th April 2006; bottled on 9th May 2023; matured in a refill Oloroso Sherry Butt; exclusive to Switzerland and limited to 515 bottles.
Single Cask 2014/1463 | 9-year-old | 59.8 vol. % | 70cl Distilled on 28 May 2014; bottled on 11 June 2023; aged in a First Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead; exclusive to Switzerland and limited to 315 bottles.
