Wolfburn Small Batch Release No. 416 – 10 years Port Pipe Cask Matured
70 cl | 46 %
In 2016, Wolfburn acquired these Ruby Port casks and filled them without delay. Ten years on, we have the pleasure of enjoying the results. The characteristic aromas of Wolfburn mingle with the distinctive notes of Ruby Port.

Colour: Amber with subtle red glints.
Nose: Warm aromas of Ruby Port with a delicate hint of sea salt. Dried fruits – raisins, dark cherries, and sultanas.
Palate: Luscious caramel and gentle vanilla, accompanied by vinous notes. Soft oak smoke and the rich sweetness of dates and figs, with a smooth, full-bodied texture and exceptional depth of flavour.
Finish: Long and warming. Caramel and dried fruits, with characteristic notes of Ruby Port.
Wolfburn Single Malt Scotch Whisky Liqueur
50 cl | 26 %
Round off your Wolfburn selection with this whisky liqueur (not a cream liqueur). One of those products that a man buys alongside his whisky, claiming it is for his wife – only to end up drinking it himself. This liqueur is potentially addictive and remarkably versatile – enjoyed neat over ice, in mixed drinks, in the kitchen, or in the pâtisserie.
Colour: Amber.
Nose: Sweet bourbon notes are overlain by caramel, toffee, and pistachio. This is an intoxicating experience – intensely sweet, yet without masking the characteristic aromas of Wolfburn’s award-winning whiskies.
Palate: Christmas cake and candied apples meet Madeira wine – an absolutely breathtaking experience. As it unfolds, gentle, nectar-like and floral notes emerge, overlain by a beautiful, decadent, creamy sweetness.
Finish: Oh so sweet, with autumnal fruits and vanilla fading gently, leaving just a trace of caramel at the very last.

About the Wolfburn Distillery
The history of the original Wolfburn Distillery dates back to 1821, when it was founded by William Smith & Co. However, production ceased as early as 1850, and within a further two decades, only ruins of the former distillery remained.
In May 2011, Aurora Brewing – a private consortium from Caithness, centred around Andres Thomsen and Harry Tayler – resolved to make a fresh start, and in 2012 received the necessary permissions for the planning and construction of a distillery by the name of Wolfburn. On 25 January 2013, the first spirit ran from the stills – in February 2016, the first bottlings came to market. The distillery today stands approximately 350 metres from the ruins of its predecessor.
